Introducing a transformative community in Brantford's Lower Downtown.

A Whole Community™, where the past meets the future.
About the Proposal

Imagine a place where living, working, learning, and playing come together seamlessly in downtown Brantford.

Canadian Properties Group has submitted its application for an extraordinary mixed-use master-planned community in the heart of Lower Downtown. This visionary development will redefine 50 Market Street South, creating a vibrant and dynamic environment where residents can live in a whole community. The transformative plan for this 4.8-hectare commercial site envisions a dynamic, complete community for the City of Brantford. The redevelopment of 50 Market Street South aims to create over 2,300 new housing units and an enhanced retail experience, featuring a diverse range of new shops, restaurants, and services to the Brantford community.
The proposal will serve as a new anchor for Brantford’s Lower Downtown, complementing its historic roots, supporting existing and future residents, and exciting future sports and entertainment uses that the City of Brantford is exploring for Lower Downtown.

Importantly, 50 Market Street South will be a catalyst, breathing new life into the heart of Brantford by renewing and strengthening its sense of community while fostering economic growth.
